Lymphatic Drainage

with Brenton Carlini DC, LMT

Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle massage technique used to alleviate painful swelling in the arms and legs caused by lymphedema. When fluid remains in your tissues after your cardiovascular system sends blood to your organs and tissues, it is called lymph.

Your lymphatic system normally collects this lymph and returns it to your heart via lymph vessels and nodes. When something disrupts this process, lymph can collect in your arms and legs, causing swelling.

Dr. Brent uses lymphatic drainage to help move lymph from your tissues back to your circulatory system.

An Integrated Therapy

Dr. Brent uses lymphatic drainage in combination with various other techniques. Lymphatic drainage can be used together with medical massage therapy and chiropractic care. Make an appointment to see if lymphatic drainage is right for you.
