As yoga helps deepen the mind-body connection, Mara used this discipline and began to balance stresses in life that seemed to affect her health and digestion.  Through yoga, art, dietary nutrition, and Chinese medicine philosophies, Mara found balance in her own body. She followed the path to become a Chinese medicine practitioner to help others find this balance as well.

Mara lives in Robinson Twp with her husband, Dr. Brent Carlini. She enjoys her Golden Retriever Magnus,  Tuxedo cat Arya, and Cow-Cat Gwennie. Mara continues to create Spiritual Art, including mandala paintings in which she provides beautiful hand painted gifts and mandala workshops in the Pittsburgh area.  She enjoys yoga, meditation, family time, running, biking, reading,  laughing and whole foods cooking.

Mara's Art: Art Website and Instagram

Mara began her journey of Chinese medicine when she utilized the theme of

Yin and Yang "balance" through her Art.

Yin and Yang represents balance of physical and spiritual aspects.

While exploring the balance of

Yin and Yang in Art,

Mara found physical, spiritual, and emotional balance through the practice of Yoga and Meditation.
